A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school focused on delivering supportive and inclusive education to students. This contract position spans the full school year and is based in the Irving, TX area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an elementary school caseload within an inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with classroom paraprofessionals to meet individual student needs
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
- Work within district guidelines and participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Valid certifications in Special Education EC-12 and General Education K-5 are required
- Experience teaching special education students, preferably in an elementary setting
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with paraprofessionals and general education staff

- Ability to manage classroom responsibilities and maintain clear, accurate documentation
